Go With an AC Contractor Whose Work Holds Up to Florida’s Heat
You can set your watch by our afternoon storms. Heat builds, clouds roll in, rain comes down, and then it’s right back to warm and humid. That's something only a local HVAC business understands.
Systems in Sorrento or Mount Dora take that whole cycle on the chin. We keep that in mind when we’re diagnosing problems. It’s not just about what failed. It's about what kind of conditions your HVAC system has been dealing with day in and day out.
A system that needs a helping hand can display a variety of symptoms. Our team of heating and cooling experts can assist with:
- An AC that struggles in the afternoon
- Homes that feel uncomfortable even when the AC is running
- A heat pump that runs constantly but can't keep up
- Warm or uneven air coming from your vents
- A lack of recent air conditioner tune-ups
- You're hearing sounds the system didn't used to make
Serving Lake, Orange, and Seminole County for Three Generations
Central Florida is not gentle on HVAC systems. Lake County gets heavy afternoon heat rolling off the water. Orange County has homes working hard on long summer days. Seminole County brings the shade, but not relief from the humidity. Allens helps homeowners throughout our service area their homes cool when Florida starts acting like Florida.

Things You Can Check Before Calling
A few quick checks can sometimes solve the problem before we come out. We're always happy to help, but if one of these does the trick, it saves you a service call:
- Check your circuit breakers
- Make sure your thermostat is set correctly
- Replace dirty or clogged filters
- Check your drain overflow switch
- Ensure the area around your condenser is clean
- Doublecheck your vents are open
Doing HVAC the Same Way for Decades

Allen's grandsons–Brad and Brandon–have carried Allen’s legacy forward. Working with Allens today gives you the same values and the same commitment to doing things right. It's how we've done things since 2003.

Why We Work with Amana
We work with Amana because they make heating and cooling systems that are built to last. They also offer a 10-year warranty on most parts.
When Allens recommends an Amana system in Lake, Orange, and Seminole County, it is not because we are trying to force you into one brand. It is because Amana gives many homeowners a good mix of reliable performance and warranty protection.
